BABA FATEH SINGH GATKA AKHARA

Baba Fateh Singh Gatka Akhara was established in East London (UK) in 1992 and has since then been engaged in establishing the International Gatka Organisation ( IGO ) an Umbrella body of gatka students and instructors from East and West. It has trained and helped develop other akhara's throughout Europe, Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok, Canada, USA and India.
Its basic mission statement is :
To promote and teach the spiritual martial art of the Sikhs known as Gatka on a national and international level and to bring to realisation that, one is participating in an art developed by great warriors who's valour, honesty, integrity, and patience formed the basis for developing a code of ethical rules, and such rules are taught to the youth of today so that they will have an understanding of the value of worthwhile living for the world of tomorrow.
We welcome you and hope that in doing so you will be able to gain an understanding of this Great Martial Art of the Sikhs .
